Fei-Ting(Doris) Hsu

About Me

Fei-Ting(Doris) Hsu received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences in 2013 from the National Yang Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan under the mentorship of prof. Jeng-Jong Hwang. Her thesis work examined synergistic effect of sorafenib combines with radiation or vorinostat on human hepatocellular carcinoma is via inhibition of ERK/NF-kappa B signaling pathway. Especially, focuses on cancer therapy strategy and related mechanism in tumor micro-environment. She is major in tumor biology, tumor immunology, translation medicine and radiobiology during her Ph.D period. In 2008 summer, she is an exchange student in prof. Lydia Su and prof. Jeon-Hor Chen lab, Center for Functional Onco-Imaging, School of Medicine, University of California Irvine, Irvine, CA, USA. In 2013, she awards the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor. She is currently a medical physicist at the Imaging Research Center, Department of Medical Imaging at the Taipei Medical University Hospital at the Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan. She is currently working on establishing a radiogenomic map in glioblastomas by combination of RNA sequencing and MR imaging. She also take lead of small molecule theranostic MR probe project in our center. We believe these researchs will be helpful in comprehensive understanding of glioblastomas and may lead to a better disease management.
